About Me

Welcome to my site ‘Abi’s Insights’. Abi used to be my nickname at work and forms part of my surname that people have been calling me for a while now. Speaking of work, in 2015 I decided that I needed a break from the corporate rat race and took 5 months off to spend in Europe starting in Sorrento, Italy. One of my passions in life is traveling and my plan was not to plan on this particular trip! The purpose of my holiday was to live like the locals and find my happy place again. It was one of the best decisions I ever made and since then, I have traveled back to Italy (amongst other places) and have now made my dream a reality by making the move to Sorrento in May 2017 to study my passions and live my best life! The purpose of my blog is share my travel photos, experiences and discoveries with you hoping to help and inspire you on your travel journeys!

This photo was taken in Capri in 2014 on a boat trip. It was this particular excursion that left a lasting impression and the desire for me to go back to Italy began not long after…

I love your website! Your blogs and the photos you’ve posted are amazing. Your work is truly inspiring and I am extremely jealous of the experiences you’re having. It reminds me of a show on Netflix called Departures where two best friends drop everything and travel the world. It’s great to see you enjoying life and I hope to someday travel the world also. Keep up the amazing work!

Thanks so much for reading my blog and for your supportive comment, I really do appreciate it! If you can travel, I totally thing it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself not only to see the world but to open your eyes up to experiences that you will change you as a person (for the better 😉 )
