Feel the fear and do it anyway!

That’s exactly what I did last weekend. I felt the fear in a big way, so much so that I thought I was going to die but I did it anyway! I had signed up for an aerobatic flight back in February but kept delaying the appointment because I let fear take over. Don’t ask me why, it’s not like I haven’t flown in a plane before – just not this kind and not upside down. The pilot Amir Zoghi from Red Baron taught me a technique to remain grounded which certainly helped and once I got in the plane I wasn’t scared anymore. For some reason I felt a sense of calm. Being in plane performing aerobatics tricks midair was a once-in-a-lifetime amazing experience for me and I was very glad that I did it… It’s ironic because in the end I had never felt more alive and the biggest thing I learnt was that…

“too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears”
